Bellator 29Bellator made it's Milwaukee debut at the Eagles Ballroom on Thursday September 16 2010. The event produced seven elite bouts including mixed martial arts fighters from all over the world. Milwaukee proved it's dominance in the sport while each of it's local fighters walked away with a win. Kyle Wieckhart, Justin Lemke, & Sasa Perkic each cornered by Roufusport Academy (Duke Roufus), showed that they are the champions in todays MMA. We'll be looking forward to seeing these fighters moving forward with thier careers in the coming days. | NAFC- Relentless 08.07.10The NAFC "Relentless" was held at the 2010 WI State Fair. The Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage was host to hundreds of fans and fighters from around the country. NAFC- UnstoppableNorth American Fighting Championship hosted "UNSTOPPABLE", an entire weekend of events at the Olympia Resort in Oconomowoc, WI. We kicked the weeknd off with a pool side weigh in event, spa visits, work out sessions, and some r&r before the fights. The main Event card was stacked with some of the most dangerous fighters around including "Razor" Razak Al-Hassan, Chico "KING" Camus, and Sergio "The Phenom" Pettis. Guest appearances at the show included WEC star Anthony Pettis, UFC star Pat "HD" Barry, and local hit artist Cincere! | Combat USA- Onieda Casino 5.23.10Combat USA held its third of the cicuit events and the second of thier events at Onieda Casino in Green Bay, WI. The North American Fighting Championship hosted over 2000 spectators and 18 fights matched up from all over the country. As the NCGA makes thier way through the midwest involving some of the best gyms out there, they sure do know how to put together great competion. Combat USA Onalaska 4.26.10The Combat USA event held in Onalaska was the second of it's championship circuit in the Midwest. The event was a large success in popularity and fighter ambitions. WI State MMA Regulation Legislative HiringWisconsin became the 43rd state to sanction mixed martial arts when Gov. Jim Doyle signed into law a bill to regulate the sport. The state's Department of Regulation and Licensing will govern the fights, adding MMA to its duties overseeing pro boxing contests. Unlike other states, Wisconsin's law passed through the legislative process in just a few months. The bill was first introduced in September 2009.
