WECŪ BANTAMWEIGHT MIGUEL ANGEL TORRES RECEIVES KEY TO THE CITY OF EAST CHICAGO, IND.


 
Las Vegas, NV (USA) – Former World Extreme Cagefighting® bantamweight champion Miguel Angel Torres received the Key to the City of East Chicago, Ind. on Friday. Born and raised in East Chicago, the 29-year-old was also honored by city officials with “Miguel Angel Torres Day” for his dedication to bettering the community.
 
“It was truly an honor to be recognized by my hometown,” Torres, who owns a gym in Northwest Indiana that specializes in mentoring the area’s youth, said. “East Chicago is a community filled with hard working people and I am proud to represent this city.”
